Cleveland 2023: It's Not That Bad!

Tricia and I have been friends for over ten years, and she’s visited me in the PNW multiple times, though before this trip, I had never been to her hometown of Cleveland, Ohio. 2023 was my travel year, mostly featuring girlfriend trips, so I knew that Cleveland with Trishy had to be one of my destinations! 💕

Of COURSE I documented as much of the trip as I could, and this video makes me so happy every time I watch it. 💛

When I found out that Trish frequents a local car wash, I told her it’s a MUST for my Cleveland visit. She took me as soon as she picked me up from the airport!! Haha - so cute and fun! 😆

When living in the same apartment building in Korea, Tricia and I would often spend time relaxing and watching TV. Whenever we visit each other years later, we make it a priority to relax together, and it’s something I really cherish about our friendship. ♥️

Here we are predicting who will get married on Love is Blind and whether or not we’re happy about those decisions. 🤣

I forced Trish to be casual and cute and act like I wasn’t there as I took a few photos of her. She’s such a trooper about my need to document everything, and I mean, these photos are ✨ SO ✨ adorable?!?!

We walked through and grabbed a few goodies at West Side Market

Earlier in the day, we had found out about a Taylor Swift dance party at Mahall’s. We quickly bought tickets, dressed in our best Taylor gear, and sang and danced along with other Swifties to hours of Taylor songs!

On our way to the Taylor Swift dance party (!!!!!!!) 🦋💕🧣🕰️

The night ended with the 10-minute version of All Too Well (obvi), and lyrics like these really hit hard for the Swifties. 😄

The night after the Taylor dance party, Tricia hosted a party at her house so I could meet some of her closest friends. 😀

Tricia’s mom, Mama Mary, hosted us and Tricia’s family at her house on Easter. We ate delicious foods, hung out outside, and took cute pictures. 😄

Happy Easter from the Power family! 🥰

Every morning at Trishy’s house, we ate a huge yogurt bowl, always topped with fruits and nuts and sometimes accompanied by a coffee. 😋

We set out for Daffodil Hill in Lake View Cemetery, and while the daffodils were nice, the entire cemetery was the highlight. Tricia and I made it a point to find a nice spot to lay down on the earth and relax.

We went to this amazing shop that sold products of local artists, and I immediately gravitated toward and fell in love with the paper products from Cabbages and Kings Stationary. I purchased a book that I now use as a scrapbook for my travels!

On our last night together, Tricia and I played bingo at a drag bingo event. ✨
